Enjoyed your web site and saw this forum and thought I might add in a bit of stuff I've seen that was an encouragement to me. God Bl;less You all! Thankful to be in God's service with you! A SCRIPTURE... “Anyone who drinks the water I give will never thirst — not ever. The water I give will be an artesian spring within, gushing fountains of endless life.” (John 4:14, MSG) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria When you make Jesus the Lord of your life, God puts within you an eternal well that will never run dry. You have an unlimited supply of good things inside you which should be continually bubbling out of you. But Satan doesn’t want your joy, happiness, or laughter to flow freely. So he comes along and throws a stone of, say, worry into your well. You may think, “That’s just one little stone. It’s not hurting anything. The water is still flowing pretty well.” But Satan will be back soon with another stone, whether it’s fear, self-pity, or hopelessness. If you haven’t dealt individually with each of these stones and gotten rid of them, your nice, free-flowing well of good things will become clogged. Take the time today and every day to evaluate your well. Ask God to give you revelation and to help you keep your well clean! A PRAYER FOR TODAY Lord, thank You for the spring of eternal life and joy that You have placed within me. Help me deal with the stones that can block the free flow of goodness, joy, and laughter. In Jesus’ name. Amen. — Joel & Victoria Osteen

God’s Blessing TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, ‘Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!’ And God granted him what he requested.” (1 Chronicles 4:10, NASB) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria God wants your year, your life and everything about you to be successful and wonderful. He wants you to be productive, prosperous and fulfilled in every way. God has so many wonderful blessings in store for you that if you could know them all, you would be overwhelmed with His goodness. In 1 Chronicles, a man named Jabez called out on the Lord and asked for the blessings that he knew God had for him — and don’t you know, God answered his prayer! If Jabez could know God’s favor, then you can today. The answer is simple, but amazing: you can ask the same favor from the Lord. Seek those blessings today. A PRAYER FOR TODAY God, give me the strength to call upon Your name and seek what You have for me! Thank You for promising me a blessed life in Your Word. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done.” (2 Corinthians 9:8, MSG) TODAY’S WORD Nothing moves the heart of God quite like taking the time and effort to meet the needs of hurting and desperate people. When you focus on meeting the needs of others, you won’t have time to worry about your own needs — which is actually fine since God has promised to take care of your own needs when you spend yourself in behalf of others. The Bible says that God wants to bless you and give you in abundance what you need, so why wouldn’t you give? Give anything and everything you can, whether it’s time, money, prayer, or just a kind word. So if you want God to satisfy you with every good thing, go out and help somebody in need. Give your life away. A PRAYER FOR TODAY Lord, thank You for giving me so much from Your storehouse of love. Help me to reach out to others, and make their lives more blessed. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33, NIV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel Olsteen It’s easy to be positive and encouraging when everything is going your way, isn’t it? But every one is going to have obstacles to overcome in life. Problems have a purpose, and part of God’s purpose for allowing you to face obstacles is to test your attitude. That’s why you need to be positive even in negative situations. Remember, God wants you to live life to the fullest. And He has provided a way for you to enjoy your life, even when you’re going through hard times. Look closely again at John 16:33. Jesus has just told you that you will face tribulation. But then He says, “Take heart!” That’s the secret. One translation puts it this way: “When you have trouble, cheer up.” What God is saying is that you can choose to be joyful and positive no matter what happens. The reason you can do that is because Jesus has already won your battle, whatever it may be! A PRAYER FOR TODAY Lord, thank You for the trials that strengthen my faith. I know that all I need to do is look up to You when troubles come, and claim Your victory over them. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Folks That Are Faithful Every Single Day TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20, NIV) TODAY’S WORD Great Bible characters didn’t live a life of great exploits every day. They lived most of their lives the same way you do, taking care of the day-to-day things. Take the life of Noah, for instance. It must have been a great day for Noah when the rain finally started falling and his family raced onto the ark. And it was probably the high point of Noah’s life when God brought him and his family safely to dry ground after months on the ark. But compared to the 120 long years it took Noah to build the ark, these brief chapters in his life were almost nothing. Noah had to keep his faith strong through all of those ordinary days while building the ark so that when God was ready to do something great through him, Noah was ready too. What does God want to do through you? Being faithful today is another step toward discovering His best. A PRAYER FOR TODAY God, thank You for the examples of heroes in the Bible. Help me to be faithful in the things You have given me to do today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. — Joel & Victoria Osteen

Trust in God and Do the Right
Courage, brother! do not stumble, Though thy path is dark as night; There's a star to guide the humble-- Trust in God and do the right.
Let the road be long and dreary, And its ending out of sight; Foot it bravely--strong or weary, Trust in God and do the right.
Perish "policy" and cunning, Perish all that fears the light; Whether losing, whether winning, Trust in God and do the right.
Trust no party, trust no faction, Trust no leaders in the fight; But in every word and action Trust in God and do the right.
Trust no forms of guilty passion, Fiends can look like angels bright; Trust no custom, school, or fashion, Trust in God and do the right.
Some will hate thee, some will love thee, Some will flatter, some will slight; Turn from man, and look above thee, Trust in God and do the right.
Simple rule and safest guiding, Inward peace and inward light; Star upon our path abiding, TRUST IN GOD AND DO THE RIGHT.

Surround yourself with the right people and you can fulfill the dreams God gives you. Put yourself in relationships with people who are not only like-minded, but are also seeking to honor God in their own lives. Here is a thought to consider today: if your friends don’t point you toward God’s goal for you, then they’re not very good friends. You want to be around dream-builders, not dream-crashers! When you prune the relationships around you, you’re not cutting things out of your life; you’re making room for growth so that you can reach your God-given potential! When you make room for God’s best, you can walk away from the lesser things that the world has to offer. A PRAYER FOR TODAY God, I know You have my best in mind and in Your plans. Thank You for placing a dream in my heart and for giving me people to help lead me towards that dream. I pray that my relationships will honor You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“The fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; he will not be visited with evil.” (Proverbs 19:23, NKJV)
TODAY’S WORD from Joel Olsteen You can experience satisfaction. That’s right; no matter where you’re at, what is troubling you today, or what has happened to you in the past, true satisfaction is close at hand. It’s found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And along with the satisfaction that God gives you, peace and joy will flood your life to an overwhelming degree! This satisfaction and peace is not temporary, it’s not just here until something bad happens. Experiencing true satisfaction in God lasts for an eternity.
You can live the way you were born to live, the way God intended for you to live! With God’s satisfaction, you can live a healthier, happier, and victorious life for as long as you live.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY God, thank You for Your satisfaction that is beyond anything I have ever known. Strengthen me as I seek to serve You and find my joy and satisfaction in You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“He who guards his mouth keeps his life, but he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.” (Proverbs 13:3, AMP)
TODAY’S WORD We’ve all said things we wish we could take back. Maybe you weren’t literally in a life or death situation, but I believe every word we speak has power. Our words determine the direction of our lives. The Bible tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. There’s no neutral ground. We are either sowing seeds of life and productivity with our words, or we are sowing seeds of ruin and destruction with our words. Today is a good day to take inventory of your words and make the decision to sow only good seeds with your words.
Sow seeds of life by speaking God’s Word over your own life and the lives of those around you. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you to consider every word before you say it. Make the decision today that your words will bring glory to Lord. As you guard your mouth, you will “keep” your life. You’ll see increase in every area and enjoy the blessing the Lord has in store for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY Heavenly Father, I submit this day to You. I give You my every thought, word and action. Help me, Holy Spirit, to live a life pleasing to the Father in every way. Help me speak words of blessing to edify those around me today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, ‘Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.’ ” (John 6:12, NLT)The Bible tells of a time when Jesus fed a crowd of five thousand with only five loaves. That day, everyone had more than enough to eat and there were still twelve baskets full of bread. That’s because we serve a God of abundance! I love that Jesus told the disciples to collect all the leftovers “so that nothing is wasted.” With God, nothing is ever wasted. He’ll never waste an experience; He’ll never waste a hurt; He’ll never waste a dream; He’ll never waste even a single piece of bread.God is still in the miracle-working business. He is still our Creator and He is a Restorer. If you’ve felt like you’ve wasted years of your life in the wrong job, hanging around the wrong people, doing the wrong things, God will gather those years and restore them back to you. He’ll take those experiences that the enemy meant for your harm, and He’ll turn them around for your good. He’ll make you stronger, wiser, and better off than you were before. He can launch you further into your destiny than before. Be encouraged today because with God all things are possible and nothing is ever wasted!A PRAYER FOR TODAYHeavenly Father, I give You every bit of my life, my past, my present, and my future. Thank you for taking every experience in my life and turning it around for my good. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.” (Psalm 126:5, NIV)
The Scripture talks about seasons of sowing and reaping in your life. In Psalms, it talks about sowing in tears and reaping in joy. That verse is saying that the sowing seasons are usually the most difficult. It’s hard to keep a good attitude when all your friends are being blessed, but you’re not. You may feel like they don’t work as hard as you do. You may feel like they don’t give like you do or don’t deserve the blessing. That’s a time of testing. It’s hard to go through disappointments and stay positive and hopeful. These are seasons of sowing.
If you’ll do the right thing even when it’s hard — when you sow in tears — you will always reap in joy! Have a new attitude toward what God has placed in your heart. It may be taking a long time, but God still has a plan to bring it to pass. Don’t give up. Your time is coming. It’s never too late! God is saying, “This is your season. Keep your faith stirred up.” Keep sowing because in due season, you will reap the bountiful harvest with a song of joy in your heart!
